Zimbabwe Export Week 2025 is a premier platform that brings together exporters, buyers, policymakers, and business leaders to engage on strategies that will accelerate the country’s export growth. The week-long programme will kick off on with company visits by regional and international buyers. These tours will allow buyers to experience first-hand the capacity of Zimbabwean companies to meet international standards, while also creating opportunities for direct linkages between local producers and external markets.

Building on these engagements, a Buyers Seminar will be held on 15 October, providing an exclusive space for buyers to share insights on global sourcing trends, buyer expectations, and the opportunities available for Zimbabwean businesses to increase their competitiveness in export markets. This seminar is expected to sharpen exporters’ understanding of the requirements of different buyers and position them for stronger trade relationships.

The highlight of Export Week will be the Annual Exporters’ Conference on 16 October, which will be officially opened by the Guest of Honour, His Excellency, President E.D. Mnangagwa. Delegates will also benefit from the insights of several regional and international experts who have been invited to share their knowledge and experiences. Among these distinguished speakers will be Mr. Donal Murphy, the CEO of Rwanda Farmers Coffee Company, who will headline as the International Guest Speaker. Through such diverse perspectives, the Conference will provide a forum for dialogue on how Zimbabwe can improve its trade balance, expand its export base, and enhance the ease of doing export business.

As has been the tradition in past years, the Exporters’ Conference will culminate in the prestigious Exporters’ Awards Gala on the evening of 16 October. This event will celebrate Zimbabwe’s leading exporters who continue to break new ground in regional and international markets. Companies that have demonstrated excellence, resilience, and innovation in reaching markets beyond the country’s borders will be recognised in various categories. The Awards Gala will serve as the perfect conclusion to Export Week, honouring outstanding achievements and also inspiring the broader business community to expand their footprint across global markets.
