ZimTrade says farmers in Honde Valley have the potential to produce 15 000 tonnes of bananas worth US$4,5 million annually, hence the need to come up with proper marketing initiatives.
This was revealed during a workshop organised by ZimTrade and at least 27 banana farmers from Honde Valley with a view to create an organised marketing strategy for export market.
